Caridad "Carrie" Milgram is a supporting antagonist in Power Book II: Ghost. She is a Stansfield University professor with a sex addiction. Carrie is portrayed by Melanie Liburd.

Carrie is a former prosecutor turned Stansfield professor with a history of workplace romances because of her sex and love addiction,a which later affects her career when she starts a relationship with one of her students, Zeke Cross, to get over her obsessive ex, fellow professor Jabari Reynolds. As the minority student advisor, Carrie supports Tariq St. Patrick's stay at Stansfield despite objections from co-workers as a result of his initial failures to keep up with the rigorous Canonical Studies program, but her fondness of Tariq disintegrates after he kills Jabari and becomes the prime suspect in his murder. Carrie tries to put him away at all costs, using one of her students, Lauren Baldwin, as a pawn in the process, but she fails when she testifies in the courtroom in place of Lauren out of guilt for using her, as her exploitative relationship with Zeke and her habit of mixing pleasure with business are exposed by her former lover, Tariq's attorney Davis MacLean, ensuing the destruction of her professional life. With her life in tatters, Carrie meets her demise at the hands of Zeke's mother, Monet Tejada, who arranges her death to resemble a suicide.

  • Jabari Reynolds: Jabari thought Carrie was sleeping with Tariq and begun stalking Tariq. He found out that Tariq was selling drugs and was killed by Tariq and Cane for it.

Trivia[]

  • Although Carrie died, her fate was almost changed when Brett Mahoney suggested to Courtney A. Kemp that it would be a "great surprise" if either Carrie or Lauren Baldwin survived.[1]
    • In the end, Lauren was decided to be revived.
    • Mahoney recalls how they would have kept Carrie alive that perhaps Zeke would have come in and saved her from hanging.[1]
      • It is possible that Carrie would have taken Lauren's place as Jenny Sullivan's witness.
