Claudia Flynn is the only daughter to the largest kingpin in Chicago. She doesn’t need the green light or permission to set things in motion, she is the fire starter and the one person nobody in Chicago should ever count out. In a male-dominated business, Claud is determined to carve out her own path and one that might save her family in the end.
Biography[]
Season 1[]
Claudia is first seen having a brief conversation with Walter after she is sitting in his chair. Claudia tells her father he should depend on her for more but Walter only wants her to run the family books and keep them legitimate. She later kisses Mai in a club and talks to Vic about their Dad's unwillingness to change and sell new drugs instead of only Pills.
Claudia and Mai find a new drug called Dahlia through Lauryn Williams, they believe it could be the next big thing for the future. She rolls up on Tommy Egan and tells her she has something that'll kick his teeth in, then soon kisses Tommy with Dahlia and he realises it's good. Claudia layer has an argument with Mai, who wants to stop working with her, and then after a rude remark Claudia stabs Mai to death. She buries her body along with the help of Tommy.
Claudia starts working with Tommy, Liliana and Dr. Williams making Dahlia in a lab. Tommy teaches her a few things about the drug game, for example using a new method of locker drops to sell Dahlia. Reggie, a business associate of Claudia's, keeps calling her and when he sees her after ignoring his calls she shoots him to death. She and Tommy bury Reggie's body too and she feels that she's in the game now.
Tommy gets annoyed at Claudia for Walter's henchmen being outside the lab trying to keep tabs on her. He starts to doubt if he can trust Claudia. Walter later calls to meet with her and asks what she has been up to after his two henchmen are missing. Claudia lies and after Walter says he will crush whatever she has going on, she replies by saying he had better be ready for a fight.
After Gloria's death, Claudia starts to become loyal to her family again, believing that Tommy was behind the hit after seeing him with Mirkovic. Walter soon tells Claudia that she wants her to be a part of his war room against Tommy, which surprises her since her father has always kept Claudia out of that line of the business. She suggests a way for them to kill Tommy since she knows that he makes Dahlia as well, but the plan fails. She realizes that Walter was the one responsible for Gloria's death after he tipped off the Serbs, and during a shootout she kills Liliana, possibly by accident. In her final scene of the season she and Vic hang a picture of Gloria in her bar and seem not to be siding with Walter anymore.
Season 2[]
While incarcerated she calls Shanti, begging her for help but the latter coldly reminded her that she sides with winners. Claudia got the sense that she was aware that Shanti was aware that she going to be arrested. At that point, Tommy grabs the phone and speaks to Claudia gloating about how he has defeated her. Claudia then realized Tommy and Shanti were in league but before she can retort, a large female inmate sneaks up behind her and stabs her in the back. Critically wounded, Claudia collapsed while the inmate smugly cursed her and walked off. As she took her last breath Tommy and Shanti proceeded to listen before she died. Tommy was satisfied at avenging Liliana while Shanti called him a real one for taking down his rival.
