Trivia[]
- This episode reveals that Zeke was born in 1998 and is 23 years old, which means that Season 2 takes place in 2021.[3]
- Cane expresses his surprise at this when he asks Monet in disbelief how Zeke is the eldest and not him. Yet in Cane's police file in Season 2's mid-season finale, Cane was born in 1997.[4] Courtney A. Kemp confirmed this was a mistake, with Cane actually being born after 1998.[5]
- Since all of Monet's sons are supposed to be in their twenties,[6] it can be assumed that Cane and Dru's ages in this season are 22 and 21, as the passage of time between this season and last season is one year since Tariq turns 18 in a later episode of Season 1[7] and is 19 in Season 2,[8] therefore still making Dru a twentysomething (20 years old) in Season 1.
