Fredrick “Freddy Wilds” Williams was a minor antagonist in Power Book III: Raising Kanan of Season 2.
He served as a supporting antagonist in season 2 and the posthumous antagonist in season 3-4
History[]
In "It's a Business, Man", he and his gang robbed Kanan and Famous for the latter's necklace, while taking the duffle bag that he and Kanan had. Freddy tells Kanan that he doesn't care about his infamous family and this is street math, before leaving smugly. Afterwards, Kanan obtained a gun and broke into Freddy's apartment and held him at gunpoint, using Freddy's words against him. The scared Freddy was pistol whipped before being savagely beaten by Kanan in revenge, while his gang were shocked by Kanan's action and made no attempt to stop him. When a neighbor passed by, Famous implores Kanan to run and they take back their items while doing so.
Much later, he was seen entering a pizzeria and spotted Kanan sitting at a table with Famous. Recalling the beating, he nervously keeps silent when the smug Kanan taunts him. He collects his order of three boxes of pizza and promptly leaves.
During "Anti-Trust", Freddy was seen trying to leave his apartment but was accosted in the hall by a masked Famous who tries robbing him, while armed with a gun. However, Freddy was unfazed by the gun and threats before he revealed despite his mask, he knew it was Famous from his voice and refused to open the door. In attempt to scare or possibly attack him, he revealed a gun while Famous said it doesn't have to go down like this but Freddy stated he can't let him off the hook for his act and seemingly reached for it but this spooked Famous who accidentally shot him. As Freddy was shocked from his wound, he attempted to retaliate but Famous finished him by shooting him 3 more times, killing Freddy. Horrified at his actions, Famous quickly fled the scene unaware that a neighbor had heard the exchange. When the neighbor was interviewed by NYPD, he revealed he heard arguing but wanted nothing to do with the event.
Famous was later questioned by cops on the murder but he denied knowledge of it. After being released, Famous informs Kanan that he put Freddy down, shocking him. Famous also admits that he did not mean to murder him, expressing heavy remorse at his actions while Kanan tells him to keep it to himself and not tell anyone else.
In the season finale, Mrs. Figueroa discovered the gun that Shawn used in the murder. She turned it over to the police who ran it through ballistics and discovered it was a match for the murder of Freddy. Having evidence now the FBI and police proceeded to arrest Shawn who tried to deny the facts but it’s not believe been subsequently incarcerated.
