Rico Barnes is a major antagonist in Power Book 2: Ghost. He was the original drug connect for the Tejada drug cartel.
Rico appears as one of the overarching antagonists of Power Book II: Ghost Season 1.

After finding out about the disappearance of D.C. Joe, Rico shows up in a car with his gang getting ready to shoot up Monet's bar. Dru Tejada ended up wounded but Tariq St. Patrick, Diana Tejada, and Monet Stewart Tejada survived untouched. Monet's husband Lorenzo then set up a meeting between him and Monet so they could come to an understanding about the shootout. The meeting was civil until Rico began running his mouth towards her. Therefore, Monet shot him in the neck and twice in the chest, then Owl killed Rico's bodyguard.
