"SLEEPING DOGS" is the third episode of the second season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan.

A surprise encounter with Howard leaves Kanan rattled. Raq tries to expand into new territory, but when an associate and valuables go missing, she is reunited with an old adversary. Lou continues to butt heads with Crown.
Plot[]
Once exiting the house, Kanan is approached by Howard who wants a talk. Reluctant, they enter his car and Howard reveals to him that he was his real father not Def Con but the surprised Kanan didn't believe it, something Howard expected but told him to consider it.
During a talk with Juke, the latter told Kanan it could be trick but he wasn't sure after he began to think Raq told him to shoot Howard to cover the truth.
That night, Kanan gets off a bus and is annoyed when Howard approaches him again and notes on how Raq probably told him that s sudden dropping this news was because he lost it. However, he reveals that he is more lucid than Kanan thought by mentioning that he remembers Kanan shooting him in the park. He remarks on how he did so mercilessly but tells him that doesn't matter anymore, because he won't let anything happen to his son, stating Kanan might need to be convinced, but he is his father regardless. This time, Kanan really considers the possibility.
