He says that he named her Heaven because that's somewhere he and his mother will never see while also saying the only reason he never brought her around her is because of her influence. He takes her jewelry and leaves her house. At the end, Dre ends up arrested and his girlfriend Tina becomes desperate that she approaches Vanessa for help, introducing her to Heaven. When Tina visits Dre in jail, she tells him that he can't be mad with the decision she made, before Vanessa reveals herself to him. She voices how she is pleased to finally meet her granddaughter.
